Advocates for safe and regular migration

The Migrants As Messengers project engages returnees and trains them as advocates against irregular migration. They share their experiences on social media in an effort to discourage others from risking the dangerous journey to Europe. CGNT media correspondent Deji Badmus, reports on how 18 returnees from Libya were trained on how to create compelling short videos using smartphone kits. The 18 returnees are part of the Volunteer Field Officer (VFO) program whereby returned migrants go into their communities and become advocates for safe and regular migration.
